Calling all the cool cats and kittens out there. Us cool cats always love to express how colourful we are and artsy we are. This craft is the perfect thing to do it with. Create your own cat to represent how brightly coloured the world should be.
Materials:
- paper
- red, blue, yellow, grey or white paint,
- a sponge
- White Card Stock or a cereal box
- Cat Body Parts PDF
- Coloured Card stock to print your cat body parts onto.
- Paint
- Paint Brushes
- Scissors
- Glue
- largish size bowl
Directions:
Find a bowl as big as your White card stock or cereal box, trace around it then cut it out.
Paint stripes or polka dots, swirls or squares onto the round cat body. Some thing bright a colourful to show how bright an colourful your cool catness is. If using a cereal box make sure to paint the dull cardboard looking size as the shiny picture side doesn’t always absorb paint well. Let it dry.
Print the cat body parts PDF onto the cardstock and Cut them out. Next draw a cat face onto the head (the circle). If you don’t have cardstock plain paper works well too. Also white cardstock for the body parts is also a good substitute as then you can ass more colour to this cool cat.
Glue your ears behind the head.
And the Tail behind the body at the top.
Glue the feet behind the body at the bottom of the circle (opposite the tail) and your cat head onto the centre of his body.
And there you have it a cool cat to show everyone how cool this cat can be.
